HORSE TRAINING AT OUR RANCH
Tara Orlin offers training for your horse. Either if you want your horse to learn something special, or maybe you need help with a problem, you can send your horse to the ranch.
Guest horses live together in big pastures with grass, trees and shelter. Usually two and two horses together. It is possible for your horse to have its own paddock if you want.
The ranch has a stable with five boxes. Tara's four horses sleep in the stable during the night, and the horses who come to the ranch for training typically spends some time in the stable after the session each day. They will get groomed, eat their grain and relax before going out in the pasture.
We can adjust the arrangements to your wishes. If you want your horse to be stabled each night, and stay outside during the day, that will of course be okey. We understand that sending your precious horse to someone else can be scary, and we can assure you that all horses- our own and guest horses, are treated equally as family members. It is important for us that the horses staying here feel happy and comfortable and that all their needs are tended to.
Bitless- and tackless training
Tara teaches your horse how to be ridden bitless- or- and tackless and will educate your horse into a more advanced level.
Your horse will learn to be relaxed, focused, soft on the rein, aware of signals from the riders seat, stop without using the reins, learn to be bendable, start collection, stretching, as well as shoulder in, leg yield, sidepass, move hind and front legs, collected reverse and much more.
Price is 18 000 kr +mva for 1 month

Colt starting / Green horses
Tara teaches your horse to be ridden. This will be done in a very safe and relaxing way. Tara always builds a connection- and trust from the ground first, and only ride the horse when the horse is ready. All the training on the ranch is done bitless or tackless.
With most horses, after 1 month your horse will be rideable in walk, trot and canter.

Rehabilitation / Rescue
Do you have a special case horse? A horse you are worried can never be ridden or maybe the horse has become aggressive and dangerous? Maybe the situation has become so bad that you would actually not like to have the horse anymore?
